the event
the tickets
so this isn't our first time watching Stomp. i first watched it at Istana Budaya in, 2006 perhaps? with my unimate Emmy and her sisters. Significant Other saw it in New York during one of his business trips in 2009. this year the performance was held at Plenary Hall, KLCC, which was really convenient because right after the show Significant Other could pop on over to the PC Fair, also held the same weekend as STOMP T__T.
the view from our seats
i think last time i bought the performance booklet (is that what they call it? i lupe lah), this time around i didn't because they cost rm30 each @_@ and the tickets were pricey enough already.
so STOMP showcases 8 very talented people playing around with your ordinary household items - making music. haha. dustbins, kitchen sinks, pots and pans (kalau bosan masak sorang2 dalam dapur sila buat muzik sendiri ya =P), lighters, plastic bags, basketballs, metal chairs, brooms, etc. children make good audiences, they have great enthusiasm! i think there were a bunch of international students in the audience. i wondered if Dayana would enjoy a show like this. when i bought the tickets it stated that only children 6 years and above were permitted to the show.
first time entering Plenary Hall =D
anyone wants an autograph from him?
box music, anyone?
after the show Significant Other commented that the next time if we were to watch STOMP again, it would be 5 years into the future onwards. hahahahah.
