clocking in 2012

so, have all of you got the most out of 2011? 2011's about to end! time for new resolutions... or renewing the old ones =P. today's the last working day of 2011. tomorrow will be the last day to enjoy the year before 2012 takes over. and Monday cuti!!!

for ice cream lovers, tomorrow is the last day you'd be able to enjoy 31% off Baskin Robbins ice cream for the year lol.

any of you planning anything special tomorrow night? i hear concerts and events will be aplenty, take your pick. Significant Other is celebrating New Year's studying for his finals, so it'll be just me and this kids this time. i'm not much of a crowd person, i think i'll probably stay in with my kids watching Beauty & the Beast for the trillionth time. i wonder if i should go watch a movie by myself since i don't have anyone to teman me... TGV's complimentary tickets are still burning a hole in my Coach bag =P.

my UK father-in-law left for the UK two days ago. he'll be visiting again in February, about the same time my sister will be coming back to Malaysia for her semester break. she's planning an invasion of USS with her peeps so i think i'll sit that one out (even though she initially invited me to go along =P). bil won't be coming back until April, but only if mil allows him to. since he couldn't return to Malaysia for Christmas, he decided to take a little trip to Amsterdam instead. my other extended family - on his dad's side - is on the way home to Malaysia from Dubai. i'll probably drop by the house tomorrow, Dayana misses her Mak Chu.

i guess i'm blessed to have such a big extended family. true?

i had a hell of a ride this year:

i survived for a whole year in my current company.
decided to embark on the husband's midlife journey to pursue something nobody in their right mind at his age would think of doing.
managed to get our condo rented out after a year of struggling with the renovation works literally and financially - with hopes that they'll renew the contract for another year.
my youngest daughter turned 1, eldest turned 3 in August.
received notice of delivery of vacant possession for my other SOHO right on schedule.
destroyed some plastics.
went crazy over babywearing. made new friends thanks to this craze.
thanks to WA, i secured the best friends i could ever wish for, despite coming from different backgrounds.
i mended old friendships. built new ones.
put myself on a limb... several times (i h8 u red airline).
let old flames go. laughed. cried. laughed and cried summore.
i'm still blogging crap =P.

anything i missed? egad, remind me to ask mil for a Petronas Diary, and also to diligently record every single daily activity for the whole year!

i suppose if things didn't happen the way it did, i wouldn't be who i am today. so in a way the years help me discover myself as a person, help me realize what's important in life. but that doesn't mean every decision that i've made is the right choice =P
and my life chapter doesn't stop here. i've still got lots to write in my book. here's to hope, wishful thinking, and great friends who stand by your side no matter what =)

to my WA friends,

thanks for listening to my sudden outbursts and raves for the past year(even though you don't understand what i'm talking about half the time!). you preggy women are sure bored with your non-preggy friend, who's always complaining about you preggy people talking about preggy-related stuff. wahahahahhahahah.

p/s. my raves haven't ended yet ok.

i'm never one to take up the unknown to my face, but here's to 2012, eh?

1. i will eat more.
2. i will blog more, pray more, love more.
3. ... i also vow not to splurge for the first six months of 2012 *rolling on the floor laughing my arteries out*
4. more hugs and kisses for the kids.
5. put a little more faith in God.
6. learn how to cook by heart - this i stole from Deen's blog, but i seriously need to do this @_@ what a hopeless wife i am
7. save money for that next big family vacay
8. smile more, worry less, frown less.

thanks for keeping my flame alive.

sock bun update

so... i did a little experiment yesterday. at 3 in the morning (i couldn't sleep). i didn't use any serum or whatever, mainly because i don't own any. i only used abit of water because my hair seems to be at uneven lengths. don't ask me how many tries it took to get my hair up in the sock bun, i was beginning to think that doing Bamboletta messy buns were much more easier than this.

i went to work with the bun, btw. hahahaha. i was doubtful that the curls would last a whole day. kagum that adrin still had her curls the next day.
i took the sock out just after i had my lunch. verdict below:

before (3am):

after (2pm):

my hair can't hold curls it seems. suggest me a hair-friendly curl-strengthener serum, please?

fit or fat?

i was browsing the web trying to find out if a particular product really does help a person in increasing their weight when consumed.

i managed to find a thread in which people were asking how they could gain weight the most easiest and most reliable way when i came across the following, which made me want to fall out of my chair in laughter:

as far as i've been told, a great way to fatten yourself up is to go to sleep immediately after you've eaten. so far all i've gotten is a buncit stomach. haha.

and someone actually mistook 'carbs' as 'crabs'. T_T

here is another one i LOL. if this is true, then please forgive me, i am not a rocket scientist.

but really, someone told me that in order for you to gain weight, the calories that you need to consume daily must be more than what you actually need per day. true? or myth?

and here's another funny one:

shiiiit. so i guess i need to check myself into a hospital.

ok so a little midnight humor read from me. do note that this post was not meant to insult anyone, i just found it amusing as to how people would react to the mere question of 'how can i gain weight'. i would've gone through the whole thread but that would mean clicking 70 more pages of replies @_@. but as i browsed towards the end of the thread, the advises given became more helpful and rational (as in what to eat, how to exercise) than the easy answer of 'eat McD, KFC and Pizza Hut every day'.

i have yet to answer that question for myself but lately i started mulling over this matter mainly because:

1) i was dismissed on the basis that i looked light enough to fly away (and that's not via airplane ok) also that i wasn't curvy enough in all the right places; and
2) i saw myself in recent photos horribly resembling an anorexic. sigh. you didn't even need to have x-ray vision to see my skeleton outline.

ok i should get some sleep. today has been quite a record of me posting entries (if you're bored, then wait til i have too much on my plate i won't have time to entertain you peeps =P). goodnight!

first time i've heard of sock buns

inspired by Adrin's blogpost here.

what first came to my mind when i read the first part of her post was this:

erm... the animals in the photo above are sock animals. heehee.

ok so in general socks are very useful. you can do many things with them, including sticking them into your hair. just make sure you don't use a smelly sock, else your hair will end up with curls AND odour. hahahahahahahaha.

Adrin has written a lovely post on these sock buns. i am so into curls lately ever since learning how to do the gibson tuck hair style: by tying your hair up and tucking the ends in (although i cheat by using a gigantic scrunchie, you need tons of bobby pins to secure the hair in place). by the end of the day when you let your hair down, you get a nice set of temp curls without even using a curling iron (which i've never tried to use before =P). this hairstyle was inspired by a friend i met during a walk-in-interview a month ago =D.

the gibson tuck hair style

my own lousy version, with the scrunchie =P

a picture tutorial of the gibson tuck hairstyle can be found here.

another hairstyle i've totally been fascinated about is the rope braid. i couldn't figure out for the life of me how to intertwine strands of hair and not let them unravel by themselves. the secret is to twist the separate strands in the opposite way from the way you twist the strands together.

ta-da! my very own rope braid! =D

anyway, for future reference, i just wanted to post here the youtube link that Adrin blogged about =D.

i'm soo into youtube these days. i'm just too lazy to wait for them to load =P. balik nanti i wanna try with my dot's huggalugs. hahahah.

boss's big day

was going through tagged photos of me in FB when i came across this photo. just occured to me that i never blogged about this event. one of my most favorite people in the workforce, he always manage to make his staff smile and feel appreciated (not like some people who doesn't even notice the minions... ahem).

well, anyway, he held a reception in KL and invited me and Nadia to come... so it was also a kind of mini reunion of people whom i used to work with... that seemed aeons ago...

will file this entry accordingly once i figure out when this event was held... i think it was early this year or last year? forgot lah. it's 3am and i'm off to make myself maggi. if anyone have tips on how to put on weight the lazy way, please do tell me.

taaa~

fresher faster funnier

the event

the tickets

so this isn't our first time watching Stomp. i first watched it at Istana Budaya in, 2006 perhaps? with my unimate Emmy and her sisters. Significant Other saw it in New York during one of his business trips in 2009. this year the performance was held at Plenary Hall, KLCC, which was really convenient because right after the show Significant Other could pop on over to the PC Fair, also held the same weekend as STOMP T__T.

the view from our seats

i think last time i bought the performance booklet (is that what they call it? i lupe lah), this time around i didn't because they cost rm30 each @_@ and the tickets were pricey enough already.

so STOMP showcases 8 very talented people playing around with your ordinary household items - making music. haha. dustbins, kitchen sinks, pots and pans (kalau bosan masak sorang2 dalam dapur sila buat muzik sendiri ya =P), lighters, plastic bags, basketballs, metal chairs, brooms, etc. children make good audiences, they have great enthusiasm! i think there were a bunch of international students in the audience. i wondered if Dayana would enjoy a show like this. when i bought the tickets it stated that only children 6 years and above were permitted to the show.

first time entering Plenary Hall =D

anyone wants an autograph from him?

box music, anyone?

after the show Significant Other commented that the next time if we were to watch STOMP again, it would be 5 years into the future onwards. hahahahah.

what being a year older gives you

my only birthday present this year lol

sigh. what a way to start my 30th year. two days after turning a decade minus 1, my iPhone decided to go kaput on me. i mean seriously kaput. this morning twas working fine, then the next thing you know it's 'No Signal', then when you restart POOF sorry, emergency calls only @_@ and it never sends out periodic warnings to you in advance to back up everything you have in your phone beforehand. so you see why i prefer writing down my to-do-lists instead of storing them into any form of electronic gadgets - ini lah jadinya. sigh. i have never felt so bored in my entire life.

- no reading mails sporadically
- no twitter updates
- no Smurfs (eGAD!)
- no Whatsapping my peeps
- no easy access to FB
- no taking crappy pictures spontaneously
- no SMS-ing my favorite people
- no SoundHound when i hear a cool song on the radio and i dunno what the title and who the artist is

and the list goes on, no doubt. turnaround time is 14 days (2 freaking weeks!!!!). how am i to survive??? oh please please please to everyone who is important, don't be trying to call me today. i can only send it for repair tomorrow because i don't have the warranty card with me. double sigh.

prior to this, my monitor at home went wonky. it hibernates, and lo and behold, it doesn't want to wake up from its slumber! i use dual monitor at home, so while the younger one wakes up instantly, the older one i have to wait 5 mins, baru mau bangun, then it got longer - 10 mins baru bangun, one time it was almost an hour before it responded (getting older, eh?) until one time the display didn't want to respond at all @_@. but anyway, we had it like since 2007 so it's done us alot of justice anyway. i had to send that for repair too. just got it back this morning, thank goodness. i'm tired of quarelling with Dayana over the monitor ("Mommy i wanna watch Papee Band!!!" T__T).

i had to decline my friend's invite to watch Breaking Dawn with her this evening because i have no way of being contacted 'cept for Skype. that is if i'm in front of the PC-lah, i don't even have a land-line. boo. i might be watching stag btw, if i get the time to watch it before Significant Other reaches home next weekend.

ok lah, i'm in a really grumpy mood today. i pray things doesn't get any worse later. the best part today was just as i was about to further wallow in my misery, i got this tweet from IslamSpeaks:

For you who's day did'nt go as planned, Alhamdulillah it is a reminder that Allah is the best of planners.

ok so the English was abit kaput, but i do hope it holds a double meaning for me. sigh i've been obsessed with checking my emails the past couple of weeks and wishing that the phone would ring. i got to realize that i'm too old for all this, hahahaha.

batu seremban

yesterday i took the kids out for a dinner outing at the Curve with Lix and Lits, all kids in tow. i wanted to pick up the snoods i borong-ed from DV, my sil pun tumpang a few snoods as well and i think she seemed more impatient than me to get them hahah. we had dinner at their favorite restaurant: SweetChat. i shared the mac and cheese dish with Dayana and Dinara, which i am happy to say they both liked. Dinara seemed very much determined to get far away from Uncle Nizam as possible though. i guess the kids haven't seen them for such a loOOOoOOng time, sigh.

my current favorite colors :D

so later we went for a round at the street market. guess what sort of damage i created this time? never in a million years would i have thought to stumble across these anywhere, especially in this era! so of course i went a bit nuts mulling over what pattern to take T__T. too bad i forgot what the name of the stall was. oops. and i do feel like going there again, hahahahahahaha.

pretty pouch bag

batu seremban!

i mean come on, kids these days only know PS3, Nintendo Wii, iPad, iPhone, mana main all those old traditional games skarang ni, kan? (think Lat: Kampung Boy lol). when i was young i used to play batu seremban with my friends. i used to have my own set, i had a friend of mine sew them for me (that was almost 20 years ago. don't ask me where they are now). at one point my dad even offered to sew some for me too, but they turned out weird-looking and most of them were not the same size hahahhahaha (it's the thought that counts though eh?).

batu seremban or five stones is a game originally played by girls. you can either play with five, seven or nine stones determining to what type of game you are playing. the objective of the game is to throw one of the stones one at a time and sweeping another on the floor simultaneously, catching the one you threw earlier on. the higher you advance levels, the more complicated the game gets.

the stones would either be triangle-ish (like in my photo) or rectanglish, but they don't really make a difference (although balancing them on your hand face-down would be much easier to do with the pillow-shaped ones =P).i remember playing with five stones when i was in primary school. i can also vaguely recall playing with seven stones (which they refer to as batu tujuh). i sudah forgot how they both differ. the stones were usually filled with green beans, or rice (biji sagu ade orang pakai tak?). Lits asked what would happen if the stones get wet. hahahaha. Lix lagi la tak pernah main the kain version, she 'literally' played batu seremban lolz. maybe i should get a couple more sets to pass down to my daughters one day, hahahahah.

tried googling batu seremban, came across this website that teaches you how to make your own batu seremban. and here's a blog that sells them, in fact for a much cheaper price than what i bought mine for.

besides the batu seremban, Lits showed me an awesome stall that sold really good quality inners, the only thing was i was down to my last rm5. eeep.

brought out my KP yesterday. i think Dinara is a 100% wrap and rs baby, this was what happened when i tried to strap her in an ssc:

stomp 2011

i am sooo going for this. the last time i saw it, it blew me away. Significant Other jual mahal dulu, and he ended up seeing it in New York terus, lagi class. children 6-years under aren't allowed, so it looks like date-night for us.

anyone in?

princess

three receptions. i know someone who got invited to all three but attended not one.
i know someone who attended all three, i really appreciate it, thanks.

anyway, just to show what i had to wear during the three different receptions. i was 2 months along at one reception, lolz. don't have a photo of the two of us at the second reception, i couldn't find any (also, i wasn't too fond of what i wore that day, too kampung-ish).

i was looking for my gamelan pics on my hdd and instead came across quite a number of photos that i never got around to develop and put into proper albums.

i chose the color, and kak mimi did the rest

didn't decide on anything, just went with the flow T__T

songket! not my choice either, but you could never go wrong with white and songket, hehe

if Dayana sees this, she'll surely go 'Mommy, look! Princess!'.

ok i'm off to bed now. i thought i was able to separate Kami from Dayana tonight - mission fail. she charged into my room a couple of minutes later after saying goodnight, asking me 'Mommy where's my purple one???'. chis.

November 9, 2011

and i miss those days

one of the main highlights in Uni (well, for me anyway) was their gamelan group. we were required to take 3 semesters of co-curricular activities as a requirement to graduate. going through the list, it seemed like the easiest one to take was gamelan - i liked music, and you didn't have to sweat or utilize a huge amount of brain power to pass. haha. ok so i didn't choose gamelan for the above reasons. they didn't have an orchestra group or cultural group at the time i enrolled so gamelan would have to do.

and boy, i never regretted joining the group. even after the three semesters ended i continued on to be a member of Sanggar Kirana, the Uni's own gamelan performing group. once the seniors graduated, my batch mainly dominated the group. my jolly friend Ju was appointed head of the crazy team (most of the group were her housemates anyway) and progressing on we had a couple of juniors joining in (we were short of guy members, lolz).

since i had good rhythm i remember being the one to play the gendang, however i didn't have enough power as the guys did (poor guys, i think they eventually got bored always having to get stuck behind the gendang. the other instruments were much more exciting than the gendang i expect). i was given the option to play the bonang, but i decided on the gambang for what reason i sudah lupe. haha.

my instrument of choice

i seriously don't remember where my collection of photos during University is (makes mental note to korek balik my stuff. alot of photos were in my Friendster account but i think it got deleted when it got converted into a game domain, sigh). we had lots of performances away from home, one time performing at Bukit Merah, an another trip to KL to perform at Hotel Istana. one memorable one was the trip to Kerteh, we took the night bus and arrived the next morning. after our performance there we got a quick tour of one of Petronas' plants, and got to eat sata and air kelapa before returning to campus. i remember how aggravating it was loading and unloading the bus with the instruments - most of the bonangs got mixed up, i remember ifa and ina trying their hardest figuring out which one was which.

bukit merah

performance at hotel istana

kerteh trip

we also played for the officiating of the Chancellor Hall in 2002, during the time of our internship training i think, i forgot. not to mention playing every year for Convocation up to 2003 (since most of us graduated in 2004). whee~. such memories. i even remember filling in teaching gamelan classes at night with Ju during the time Cikgu Zaidin left for Haji. hahahah i was the tukang kira tempo, nyampah betul. kene chop ape ntah by the juniors, lolz (i managed to make three good friends out of those so-called juniors btw. one of them was really cute hahah).

officiating UTP's UFO, 2003

Convofair 2003

ooh and the songs. i love the songs we played. tak kira lah. i play mainly by memory, i remember sape ntah commenting me about it, dia pelik why i didn't need the music sheet stand. gile kagum, she says. lol. if you love playing the notes will eventually get embedded in your brain, trust me.

performing pro bono at IOI Mariott, 2006

according to Wikipedia:

A gamelan is a musical ensemble from Indonesia, typically from the islands of Bali or Java, featuring a variety of instruments such as metallophones, xylophones, drums and gongs; bamboo flutes, bowed and plucked strings. Vocalists may also be included.

The term refers more to the set of instruments than to the players of those instruments. A gamelan is a set of instruments as a distinct entity, built and tuned to stay together – instruments from different gamelan are generally not interchangeable.

The word gamelan comes from the Javanese word gamels, meaning "to strike or hammer", and the suffix an, which makes the root a collective noun.

UTP gamelan instruments at the time consisted of (that i remember ya):
- bonang barung (ina, ifa)
- bonang penerus (fidah, lubna)
- gambang (me, teh)
- gendang (awie, shinchan, dino, kamal, hatta, farhan)
- sarung peking
- sarung barung
- sarung demung

(shikin, ayu, ida, yana, ujie, baity, jue, halidi, emmy, er, sape lagi ah? park yourselves in the correct instruments boleh tak?)

i didn't know UTP now has it's own website promoting the arts of Gamelan. i see their uniforms are more elegant from the last time i was part of the team. we didn't have much choice then, it was either blue or yellow gigantic baju-melayu lookalikes with gold trim. hahaha. buruk benor.

and the students who've graduated have formed their own group outside of Uni, calling themselves Ensemble in G (EiG) created by Farhan Iqbal Mohd Yusof, a junior of mine. they've done a great job upholding the group. most of the original members sudah lesap, busy with their own lives it seems. anyway, EiG is currently open for reservation and inquiries for those who are interested to have gamelan music accompanying them for wedding events or other formal events.

oh, how i'd love to play with ma peeps again =)

this entry is still incomplete, will be updated once i get more info from my parterns in crime. toodles~!

and more wish-crafting

while watching Greys Anatomy last night, i continued crafting the frames. menarik tak? these aren't finished.

here's how they look after i've embelished them with little decorations. still unfinished.

haven't figured out what photo to insert into those frames. still got the bows and flowers to go.

happy November everyone! it's birthday month! *grin*

since last night my Dinara is down with a high fever. hope she gets well soon... *muaks*. this morning i brought the kids to the GP, Dayana was feeling OK but just wanted to tag along. she was quite happy trying to make friends with the kid patients waiting for their turn (must enrol Dayana in kindy next year!). in the Dr.'s room, while the Dr. was examining Dinara, Dayana was like 'uhuk uhuk, i batuk'. cheh tu nak mintak simpati Dr. la tu, hahah. in response she got a vitamin to munch on.

time sakit takmo makan ubat, time tak sakit sibuk mintak ubat, lol!

wish-crafting

i bought this Chipboard Kit frame quite awhile ago at MPH. Significant Other says it's rubbish, but i thought it would make a good addition to the wall considering i don't have enough frames in the room. with this kit i get to create 3 different frames (which means i gotta decide on 3 photos that should go into the frames, which i haven't done yet).

inside the box contains 6 printed colored paper, 6 pieces of cardboard shapes (as in the above photo), some ribbons and buttons to serve as the frame decorations. being the bendul that i am, i'm just gonna follow the design that's already shown on the box it came in.

i've managed to complete cardboard shape #1 this while watching Melissa & Joey on Star World earlier. i'm never one to trust my scissors skill, i often resorted to the blade when it comes to straight lines. but i'm lucky these ones turned out ok. i think i'll work on the square frames tomorrow night.

some people can get really creative by just using stuff that's lying around the house. me? so the very cerewet. i'm better off not doing anything, i'd end up with more wastage than anything, oops. i know Dayana would be interested in this. i bought her a cut-and-paste activity book, she enjoys the activity very much (i cut, she paste). she'd bring the book to me and say 'mommy i nak sticker ini!' while showing me which ones she want me to cut out for her. i leave her to the gluing part. if it were up to her she'd finish the whole book by herself @_@.

for Dinara, i just give her a pencil and a paper, and she'd start scribbling. i didn't teach her how, i guess she followed by example. role model: big sister Dayana. she can even scribble with both hands ok, kelakar betul. but most of the time the pencil ends up in her mouth. and then she'll start walking around the room dragging the paper along with her.

i'm wondering when's the next time i'd be able to brave allowing Dayana to dabble in paints again. i forgot to buy her proper palettes to squirt the paint in. sometime soon before i realize she's all grown up already? haha... time flies.

on another note, happy birthday to my mil, 1 day shy before Halloween =D. duh, no wonder most of the tv series are showcasing pumpkins and costumes and scary horror flicks (like the Walking Dead haha).

happy XXth birthday!

glee-rified

i distantly remember the first time i saw the Glee advertisement on Star World - Sue Sylvester doing an 'L' with her hand at her forehead. so i'm like, oh, so it's a loser TV-series? hahahahaha.

how wrong i was.

i've just started watching Glee and yeah, unlike uolls i caught the Glee bug quite late in the season. i thought it was gonna be another High School Musical, where i'm gonna end up hating the hero and heroine (i don't like Gabrielle! sue me!). and there'd be tons of singing la la la (duh~) and then i'd start wishing i was 17 again. hoho.

in my opinion, songs sung by the Glee cast get far more fame and hits than any other usual song - heck, you get to promote your song for free! seriously.

Glee however was somewhat different (this is just my humble opinion after watching it starting from mid-second season onwards =P). Star World currently airs it in the middle of the night and we got to watching it after a new late night stay-ups, somehow we got hooked. i've had the whole season sitting in my harddisk but never bothered to watch it til now. so now that we're done watching Season 2, we're starting back on Season 1 lol.

i happen to like the characters in the Glee club, although some characters are a bit far-fetched, like that crazy Sue Sylvester =P (btw, she's starting to become one of my favorite characters now haha). if you notice relationships don't run far from the group - i'm reminded of 'the Bold & the Beautiful' where this Brooke character had relationships with practically all the males in the Forrester family lolz. basically the team itself has diversity. the series touches a number of real-life issues - relationships, sexuality and social issues, to name a few. i didn't know high school could be so complicated. and slushee throwing? does that really happen in high school? LOL. be very afraid. oooh and don't forget the singing!

i hope this series stays awhile. i've never even heard of the cast members prior to Glee. can i gush over some of the cast like a tween? LOL.

photos source: Google

meet: Rachel Berry. strong willed, ambitious. i just wish she was more prettier - i'm not implying she's not pretty, but if you compare her to Quinn, don't you think Quinn takes the cake? (habis la Lea will put me on her ban list after this) is it true that square-faces are more prettier than oblong-faced? (totally off-topic, but i do wonder). i didn't like her that much because she tends to hog the limelight most of the time, but i admire her determination.

meet: Finn Hudson. to me sometimes he looks cute, sometimes he doesn't. to me, anyway. he doesn't have the looks of a quarterback. he's totally undecided between Rachel and Quinn. i remember a dialogue in one of the Glee eps mentioning that 'you will always remember your first love' (i think Rachel said that to Finn). me? i'm still deciding who was my first love *runs away*

meet: Quinn Fabray. she's so cute!!! she has this doll-like air around her, she totally reminds me of Paris Hilton, no joke. Significant Other keeps saying that she should be the main character instead (he's bias, please ignore him). and she's a mother? @_@. she can be snotty at times. but she can be nice too. i didn't like the promotional Fox poster of her, so here's a different one.

meet: Kurt Hummel. his voice does sound a tad girly-ish sometimes, and sometimes the way he walks irritates me, but i like him anyway. he has that confident persona about him, even after baring the skeletons in his closet. seemed like a sissy in the first season (him fighting with Rachel over Finn? T_T) but his character warmed up to me from Season 2 onwards. i didn't like this promotional Fox poster of him either, but i couldn't find any photo that portrayed the Kurt that i like in the series.

meet: Blaine Anderson. super cute! super cute in his Dalton outfit. super confident, despite being gay. eeeeeeeeeeeek! he sings really well too. and the part where he kisses Rachel? super steamy. haha. ok i sound like a school kid again. i wonder if he's this upbeat in life. if he is, brownie points! makes a great partner for Kurt. too bad he's too young for me *rofl*.

... to name a few. the other casts rock as well, each with their own storyline =). Will Schuester is pretty steamy too sometimes. Significant Other says he looks so much like Justin Timberlake, haha. and Chord OverStreet should continue on in the series, he's makes a hot Justin Beiber lookalike =P~. it's too bad they'll all have to eventually be replaced when they graduate in the series. you can see that i'm sooo not into changes =P. funny how they can all create rifts between each other (boyfriend fighting, girlfriend stealing, fighting over prom queen) yet still stay together in the same group. if they were people that i actually know in real life, they'd probably severe friendship ties (and Facebook connections) with you, want nothing to do with you, and formed separate groups of friends by now.

i also wonder, do you think high schools in Malaysia have their own Glee club now? =P~~ i mean, there was a time cheer-leading clubs started surfacing ever since the 'Bring It On' movies were released. so... no Glee? hahahahaha.

motive of this post? saja. just to remind myself that i was once a Glee fan, looking back. rofl.

which reminds me: i must update my iPod playlist!

JCard Day is happening downstairs and i haven't even stepped foot in the crowd! (not that i want to, i hate crowds). i was lucky i made it in time so i didn't need to melilau underground for 40 minutes (like my friend had to) just to get parking. phew.

i donated 3 shoes to the maid - red heels, black wedges, black pumps. i've test driven them and they still seem wearable. oh there was one more pair of heels i wanted to give away as well, but i managed to snap the straps on my way down the escapator. r.i.p. these days eBay doesn't seem to hot anymore. people can afford to buy new now =P~~~

i had lunch with Hanis today. lol. who would've thunk? ok no jinxing this either, so next topic, please.

nuff with the -ve vibes. a friend of mine invited me to join ze Flash Mob, happening this 22nd October, 8pm at Jaya One, PJ.

what is this flash mob, you ask? here's a definition on Wiki:

A flash mob (or flashmob) is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, artistic expression or—in rare cases—violence. Flash mobs are organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails.

they have a video link for the dance steps. i have no idea how to link the video here though *scratch head*

did it work? =D more info here.

frankly speaking, the video scares me. last i ever danced was before i was even married, i took dance classes at Taipan =D. anyone dare to move?

to end my hectic Wednesday (no wordless for you this week), here's a photo of my little Caliph (well, for 5 minutes and tu pun just long enough to take photos lol):
